Mandy
Dental Hygienist
Mandy is truly a local talent, born and raised in the Walla Walla Valley. She graduated from Yakima Valley Community College in 2007. With more than 15 years on our Dayton Dental Care Team, Mandy has connected with our patients and loves to see them smile. Mandy promotes community oral care awareness through classroom visits and visits to the local senior center and previously helped lead a sealants/fluoride program in school settings. When she’s not brightening smiles in our office, Mandy enjoys reading, traveling, camping and spending time with her family.
Denise
Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Denise began her dental career in 1999 when she graduated from Columbia Basin College’s Accredited Dental Assisting Program. She has been reliably assisting Dr. Mike since 2005. She makes our patients her number one priority, wanting them to feel comfortable and at ease, all the while ensuring every dental procedure is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Denise is happily married to her husband and best friend of nearly 30 years. When she’s not working, you may find her on a spontaneous road trip, cooking, reading, gardening and hanging out with her fur family.
Cheryl
Front Office
Cheryl joined the Dayton Dental Care Team several years ago. She schedules patient appointments, assists patients with insurance, and coordinates care with specialists. Cheryl has grown to love the rural lifestyle here in Eastern Washington. If Cheryl is playing hooky from the office, she most likely is out showing her horse. Hiking with Dr. Mike, her husband of 40 years, and the doggos, is one of her favorite things. They’ve also taken up kayaking and are exploring new places to paddle away summer days.
Murphy the Mascot
Murphy is the newest member of our team, joining our office during the holiday season of 2021 at the tender age of 10 weeks old. When he’s not sleeping on the job, Murphy takes his Mascot duties very seriously. His talents include wiggly/wagging greetings, making patients smile, puppy kisses and helping every patient have the happiest visit possible. He makes his office home at the reception desk, often laying on his human’s feet and blocking the drawers or the printer. Efficiency is also his talent. Murphy is a very good dog. Every day.
